Franz Dolezych founds the company in Dortmund
1949
Reconstruction of the company destroyed in the Second World War
1951
Move to the current location in Dortmund harbour (at that time still “Sunderweg” instead of “Hartmannstraße”)
1968
Udo Dolezych joins the company
late 1970s
Introduction of textile products makes Dolezych a full-range supplier of lifting and lashing equipment
1979
Udo Dolezych becomes managing director
1988
Dolezych patents the first product: a preload measuring device (today there are about 120 patents and utility models)
1990
Udo Dolezych becomes sole managing partner
The range of services is extended to include specialist seminars
1992
Start of internationalization: Foundation of the first foreign branch office in Katowice, Poland
