Whether made of hemp, polyamide, polypropylene, polyester or the high-tech fiber Dyneema – fiber ropes are suitable for a wide variety of applications.
Due to their low weight and easy handling, they are used, for example, as ropes in the maritime sector, as guide ropes in the construction industry or as traction ropes in industrial work areas – made up with loops, thimbles or endless as sling ropes according to DIN EN 1492-4.
Fiber ropes are gentle on the cargo, are not electrically conductive and significantly reduce the risk of injury.

The Fiber Material
The material Dyneema® SK75 is a polyethylene with a high strength (360 daN/mm2). The breaking load is thus 3 to 4 times higher than that of a conventional fiber rope of the same diameter made of polyester or polyamide. Another outstanding feature is the low elongation at break of 3.8% %, which, in conjunction with the high abrasion resistance, makes Dyneema® rope the ideal choice, e.g. for sailing.
In the Dyna Coat version, the polyester coating further increases abrasion resistance.
Industrial uses include: Cable pull ropes, winch pull ropes.
Material Highlights:
UV resistance: very good Alkali resistance: very good Acid resistance: very good Gasoline / oil resistance: very good Knot resistance: approx. 50%.
Both versions are easy to splice (follow splicing instructions)!

Choose the right materials for use in chemicals (ask Dolezych for the right rope). Stop fiber ropes can be used at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C without loss of load-carrying capacity. Use outside these temperature ranges is not permitted.
Ropes with broken strands, yarn breaks in larger numbers (more than 10% of the total number of yarns), deformation due to heat, splice loosening, damage due to aggressive substances, must be discarded.
In the case of hemp sling fiber ropes, the versions with 2 loops and endless short splice are made of 4-strand ropes. For all other designs and materials, the load capacities for 3-strand ropes apply. For load-bearing capacities of other fiber materials, e.g. Kevlar, please contact Dolezych. For further information, see BG BGR 152.
