These seminars deal with the subject of “slings”. Our experts report on their experience in handling slings and provide decision-making aids for optimal use. Participants will gain an insight into the new DIN / EN standards and DGUV regulations. Common sources of error when slinging and transporting loads are shown.
There will be ample opportunity to discuss and share experiences with the experts. The speakers will be available to answer any questions.
In addition to the contents of the one-day seminar on lifting equipment, the two-day seminar includes further lectures as well as theoretical and practical exercises for the participants on the subject of lifting equipment in hoisting operations.
The focus here is on the practical part: exercises with ropes, chains, hoisting belts, round slings, grabs and tongs are carried out on the crane in small groups.
The practical part also includes the inspection of slings for discard criteria (e.g. by means of magnetic crack testing).
In the smaller group of participants we have time for more intensive exercises in theory and practice as well as discussions with individual questions.
