👉 When do I have to discard a web sling?
As soon as you notice damage such as thread breaks, cuts exceeding 10%, chemical deformation, or missing labels – that’s your cue. Better to replace than to take a risk.

👉 Can I use it in choke hitch?
Absolutely, but keep in mind the lifting factor – in choke hitch, WLL drops to 80% of the straight lift capacity.

👉 What about sharp edges?
Textile slings must always be protected with edge guards or DoLex coatings when used around sharp edges – otherwise, there’s a serious risk of injury or sling failure.

👉 How often should I inspect the sling?
At least once a year by a qualified person. But as the user, you should visually inspect it regularly – it's quick, easy, and could prevent accidents.
